FAQ - Getting Started
We serve companies in every industry, from manufacturing, to golf courses, to non-profits, services companies and so much more.
We talk, discuss your needs, and make a plan together. We do the majority of the on boarding. All you need to do is provide us your information. And in some cases, just tell us where the employee’s detailed information is, and we will go get it.
Yes, if your business works on federally funded projects as a contractor or a subcontractor, you are required to submit a weekly payroll report. You submit this report, also called a certified payroll report, to the U.S. Department of Labor. Payroll Data Processing can generate this report for you.
It can take up to 10 days or a complete payroll cycle. It is best to convert at quarter end to alleviate the payroll-by-payroll history. Let the experts at Payroll Data Processing guide you through these responsibilities.
What are my responsibilities as an employer?
No matter what state you reside, you are responsible for the employer portion of social security and Medicare as well as federal and state unemployment, unless you are nonprofit. Federal unemployment may still be required. As an employer, you are required to withhold federal and state withholding from your employees. Let the experts at Payroll Data Processing guide through these responsibilities state by state.

Payroll Data Processing works with hundreds of agents that can place this insurance for you.
Most outsourced payroll companies charge a basic package fee, ranging from $50 to $250 per month. The cost of outsourced payroll includes direct deposit, paycheck processing, standard tax filing, and an online portal accessible by both employers and employees.
While most small to mid-sized businesses in the U.S. continue to manage their payroll process in house, the number of those that have turned to outsourcing continues to grow. This is largely due to the many reasons it can be far more cost effective and secure for smaller companies. Payroll Data Processing guarantees accurate and timely tax filings, or we’ll pay the penalties and late fees.
